RUOC'S COLONIAL DAYS
WIFFLE BALL TOURNAMENT
"31 YEARS OF BLOOD, SWEAT, AND BEERS"

JUNE 10TH - JUNE 13, 2015
HALL OF FAME
The Ruoc's Colonial Days Wiffle Ball Tournament Hall of Fame has become a Painted Post institution. Formally organized in 1988 by the Tournament Commissioners, the Hall of Fame has seen over 40 of the game's greatest inducted and passed into local legend. Once set at every five years, the Hall of Fame Winter Banquet celebrated each era's new inductees with plenty of food, beer, live music, and dancing. Canned goods were collected for a local food bank, and coverage of the event was carried in the The Leader, the area's hometown newspaper. The banquet became a time to honor our best, renew friendships, have a good time, and fill the void of a yet another long, upstate New York winter, until the crack of the plastic bat could be heard again. Since 1999, the Hall of Fame induction announcements have taken place at the end of each year's tournament. Induction ceremonies used to occur every three years at various events including the Buzzy Dobson Memorial Golf Tournament, but following the last Buzzy tournament in 2005, Hall of Fame inductions have been occurring during the Wiffle Ball Tournament itself.
Each member of the Hall of Fame is listed below, along with their year of induction. The links will show images of the members' plaques.
