2014 Wiffle Ball Week Event Schedule
Wednesday, June 11th:

6:00 P.M.: Reading of the rules and tournament pairing drawing at Ruoc’s

If your team will not be in town until Thursday or Friday, please send a representative to be there, this can be a family member or friend

Thursday, June 12th:
-
9:00 A.M. (SHARP!): 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at Indian Hills Golf Course
-
Please be there early, before 8:30am to get everything in order and sign up for skins, mulligans, raffles, etc. We will be teeing off at 9am sharp!!!

1:30 P.M.: Golf tournament awards ceremony at Indian Hills Golf Course
-
As soon as you’re done golfing, hand in your scorecard and go right to pavilion at the golf course to hang out, receive door prices and reminisce on a great day at the links

4:45 P.M.: Calcutta Auction at Ruoc’s
-
If your team will not be in town until Friday or cannot make it, send a representative if you would like to bid higher than the $10 for your team or if you’d like to bid on other teams
-

5:00 P.M.: First round of the tournament
-
With the new 24 team, double elimination bracket there is now an 8-game first round that will be played this night.
-
Darkness is no longer an issue as we have installed lights on Philip “Bobo” Ruocco Memorial Field; we’ll play into the night – possibly until 11pm!

Be ready to play. We will try to accommodate everyone and will do the best we can but there are NO guarantees.

Friday, June 13th:

5:00 P.M.: Opening Ceremonies

A quick few words from Ruoc followed by Larry French’s Hall of Fame induction
-

5:15 P.M.: Second round of the tournament
-
The second round consists of the other 8 teams that did not play in the first round and again we’ll play into the night – possibly until 11pm!

Be ready to play. We will try to accommodate everyone and will do the best we can but there are NO guarantees.

Saturday, June 14th:
-
7:00 A.M.: Official Opening Ceremonies
-
A long few words from Ruoc followed by the honoring of our 2014 tournament/sleeve dedications and other Wiffle Ball Community fallen from the past year

Kevin Price’s Hall of Fame induction
-
-
7:30 A.M.: Continuation of the tournament
-
~6:00 P.M.- Closing ceremonies after championship game
-
Closing remarks from Ruoc, acknowledgement of sponsors, awarding of the Peaches ‘N Cream All-Ruocco Team and honoring of the 4DAD Scholarship winners

-
~6:30 P.M.- The Sam Pallet Band rocking the night away after the closing ceremonies until 11:00 P.M.
